Faces of Death is a Brazilian Thrash/Death Metal band from São Paulo, and a prominent force in the country's underground extreme metal scene. Known for their brutal sound, blistering speed, and technical precision, the band combines the aggressive sound of early '90s Death Metal with the relentless energy of Thrash.

History and Evolution

Originally formed in 1990 by Laurence Miranda (vocals and guitar), the band established themselves in the Brazilian underground scene before going on hiatus in 1996.

Two decades later, in 2016, Faces of Death made a triumphant return to the heavy metal scene, reigniting their passion and evolving their sound while staying true to their roots.
